In Saints Row 2022 you can create your own character or gang members. A wingsuit appeared for the first time in the series. The arsenal consists of melee weapons and numerous firearms, including pistols, shotguns, rifles, rocket launchers or grenades. Empty lots can be redeemed by opening an illegal business on them. In Saints Row 2022 you must conquer all areas of the city and wrestle them against rival opponents. Each area is populated by unique characters and citizens. The city is made up of 9 boroughs including Rancho Prodencio, Eldorado, a gambling mecca, Monte Vista, the suburbs and the outskirts.
The protagonists must face three factions: Los Panteros, masters of hand-to-hand combat The Idols, enthusiastic party-goers and Marshall Defense Industries, powerful corporations. This includes heroes like Nina, a mechanic and car expert, Kevin, a DJ and master craftsman, and Eli, a smart and calculating businessman.
Players act as the boss of a faction called the Saints. Saints Row 2022 takes place in the city of Santo Ileso in the Southwest of the United States.
